“An angry exchange with accusations of racism was caught on video outside of an Oakland County Chipotle restaurant and shows a woman allegedly pulling a gun on a mother and her 15-year-old daughter Wednesday evening.
Takelia Hill, who is Black, said her daughter was allegedly bumped into by a woman, who is white, before entering the fast-food restaurant in Orion Township at about 8 p.m. The daughter said she asked the woman for an apology and said the woman began yelling at her.
“Before I could walk into Chipotle, this woman was coming out, and I had moved out the way so she can walk out,” Makayla Green said. “She bumped me, and I said, ‘Excuse you.’ And then she started cussing me out and saying things like I was invading her personal space.”
The teen called her mother over because she said she was scared.
“I walked up on the woman yelling at my daughter,” Hill said. “She couldn’t see me because her back was to me, but she was in my daughter’s face.””

The primary garbage I see here is this reporting. I typically side with African Americans, see the racism and condemn it. But I call it as I see it. Most of those below have pointed out many of the pitfalls of the reporting that this was racially motivated by the white woman. In addition, from what I recall (I haven't seen the video recently), the white woman could not get a word in edgewise while the others were screaming racism and demanding an apology. Much of the time they were doing so they had her surrounded between themselves and a fence AND blocking her path to her vehicle. The woman deliberately stepped behind their vehicle as they were backing up, and as noted in subsequent interviews, this activated a safety feature that prevented the vehicle from moving any further backward. Oh yea … I didn't see anyone mention that the woman also pounded on the rear of the vehicle with her fist after having deliberately stepped in it's path.
In summary it is clear that the WW was NOT the aggressor here and the others were doing all they could to escalate this molehill into mount Everest. People bump into each other every second of every day, it isn't racially motivated.
Just because there is some conflict and one side is African American doesn't mean the situation is racially motivated or the white person is being discriminatory. Such an opinion will severely damage the cause of calling out actual racism and discrimination. As will failing to recognize that in some cases the racist isn't the white person in the equation.
The mother said she would beat the pregnant woman's ass, if that's not threatening violence I don't know what is.
I've supported this channel in the past but this report misses the mark. The armed woman kept retreating, kept yelling Back the F away…. , Prior to that she kept asking the agressor to back away even empathizing with the aggressor saying "I'm sorry you feel that way". Take note this woman showed restraint keeping her finger off of the trigger. I'm sorry but this was a really disappointing report that seems more like you're trying to create racial divide. I understand the mindset of standing up when feeling dissed bit you don't go walking behind a moving vehicle when people are clearly trying to leave. And to what end was she going behind the vehicle when the encounter was already over with. She messed with the bull and got the horns, and luckily the gun owner had enough of a mindset to understand the mere brandishing was enough to end the situation. Talk all you want but it's undeniable that some people don't have the sense to leave a situation and need to be encouraged to walk away.
I hope they went on the record and apologise for the miss information that the damage report did by not searching the whole video…
