Australia teaches Americans a bunch about gun control actually. Australia teaches us during this COVID stuff how heavy handed a government who takes your guns away will rule over you. I was cowering in an open parkland (Darling Gardens) in Clifton Hill, just across the street from the Hoddle Street gunman's position as it took place. It was terrifying, the shots, the screams, the fear. I was seconds from being murdered as I approached the street light and his view. Terrified, I threw myself low into the grass behind a tree for protection, hoping the armed maniac wouldn't seek refuge in the place I was hiding. He was shooting at anyone in his sight!!!. Then only 4 months later, my boss was almost killed in the Queen Street massacre. I am utterly grateful, Australia brought in national gun control. It saves lives and that is what matters.

They had ONE *big event* then banned guns. Before that they had a handful of small events every few years, but if you notice … even AFTER **Port Arthur**, they STILL have a handful of small events every few years. There's no significant gap in small mass shootings until a full SIX YEARS after the ban! Then, once that gap ends, it's right back to regular small event mass shootings.
There is NO EVIDENCE that banning guns stopped anything.

Every time the government talks about gun control, record sales of guns is broken month after month thereafter . Nobody wants their guns taken away, especially when you got a corrupt, tyrannical and out of control government. When Russia took away the guns from the people, the Russian government then went out and killed twenty million unarmed Russian people that spoke up against their government. The Chinese government killed 30 million people after taking away the peoples gun. Our government killed 1.6 million Iraqi people just to get 25,000 terrorist.
