Seattle police are investigating a shooting near Franklin High School in the 2800 block of Rainier Avenue South at an AM/PM gas station.
A 15-year-old was taken to Harborview in serious condition but is now stable. Police say the shooting involved Lime scooters and multiple guns.
“These suspects were on one Lime scooter. They shot at the three boys. One of the boys returned gunfire, so we know there was an exchange of gunfire,” said SPD Detective Eric Munoz. “They arrived. They were shot at. They return gunfire and leave the scene, leaving the 15-year-old behind suffering from that gunshot wound.”
