Let’s see the big picture. "Mass" shooting happen in liberal created "Gun Free Zones" . Example is 3000 dead in WTC shortly after liberals disarmed pilots – in one day. Then someone comes with "but how about UK or Australia, they have very low homicide rate after some gun confiscation". It's actually same as before, and double that in comparison to countries like Switzerland or Czech Republic (a former Communist country) both of which have about the same firearms freedom as USA. Clearly nothing to do with firearms. Even here in Canada homicide rate is double that of Czech Rep. and Switzerland, yet tons of red tape on firearms.
For all we know, the corrupt government, along with its many shadowy unaccountable alphabet agencies, are the ones carrying out most of these mass shootings.

If we are ever going to have a real debate on gun control, the left must either educate itself on guns or stop lying. Automatic rifles are illegal in this country and the shooter did not have one. Therefor, there were no “bursts” of gun fire.
I just did some gun control math. There are 2 million licensed Canadian gun owners and 150 gun homicides in Canada annually = .0075 homicides per gun owner. In the US we have 38 million licensed hunters alone with 80 million gun owners and 4100 annual gun homicides = .0051 homicides per gun owner. Canada's strict gun laws are less effective.

So why has it only become prevalent within the past 25 years? 2- Why is it that during the Obama administration when he had the house that such stricter real laws were not enacted? 3- how much more powerful are the pharmaceutical companies than the NRA that they have essentially controlled the media to the point of making the guns the focal point instead of the obvious decline of our communities, the surging increase in mental health issues, and the very dangerous prescribed medication these shooters are on?

Australia passed new gun laws in 1996 banning 'military style' weapons, and automatic weapons. Licencing and Registration was required and 'personal defense' was not acceptable as a reason to own a firearm. Since then in 23 years, Australia has had 8 mass shooting incidents. Suicide by firearms has dropped by more than 50% and homicide by firearms has dropped by more than 65%.

I used to feel sorry for Americans whenever there was a mass shooting, but that sorrow has turned to disgust at their inability and unwillingness to deal with this gun control issue.
