The reason gun control works in your countries is because your countries have NEVER had NEARLY as many firearms as this country. Getting rid of them or regulating them to your proposed levels is impossible.
I have an idea. I think it should be REQUIRED for every American to own and carry a firearm at all times and be required to pass licensing and safety classes, just like getting their drivers license. Sure, initially there might be a few more incidences initially, but after every crazy person is gone, it will be very peaceful…I assure you. All the crime will be gone very quickly once everyone knows EVERYONE is carrying a firearm and can use it competently.

Since 1982-Present there have been 989 Killed and 1483 Wounded in Mass Shootings in the United States.
That's 24.725 per year killed for the last 40 years.
That's 37.075 per year wounded for the 40 years.
Look at those numbers. Of those deaths, 455 people were killed with a RIFLE.

It isn’t fair to compare the United States to other countries with gun control, because no one on the left side of the aisle is looking at the big picture. While the gun violence in those countries went down when they enacted their laws, you look at their overall violent crime and it’s skyrocketed. Perfect example, if you go to London as tourist or just live in London, you’re more likely to get stabbed, raped, robbed at knifepoint, or carjacked than you are here in america to get shot in a mass shooting. Mass shootings make up for less than 3% of all gun deaths in the United States(including the deaths of individuals who were in the process of committing a violent crime and were killed in self defense). I believe the CDC said that in 2018 there was a total of 40,000 ish homocide committed with firearms, and about 98.5% of those homocide see committed with handguns, and around 94% of all those firearms used in those crimes were stolen/ sold illegally on the streets to violent felons. America has a gun issue, and that issue is that people like piers tell other people to not pick up arms and defend themselves from the wolves of society and the wolves within our government
